Today in class we talked about the mens movement. I think that men are overlooked when it comes to suffereing or needing something. People think that men are supposed to have it all figured out and not need anyones help. Because the fact that men are supposed to not need anyones help it is hearder for them to ask for it. I believe that men are just as negatively portrayed as women. If a man can't take care of his family by himself, then he is a "loser", if a man can but doesnt spend much time with his family then he is a "horrible dad". Sometimes they just can't win.

I agree. I even notice myself doing that with my boyfriend. Sometimes I have to step back and realize that he might be having a "bad day" like me or be just as stressed. When we are raised to believe men have it all together you start assuming that in your relationships. It's not the case at all...most times men don't have it together at all but they just don't know how to lean on others and ask for help because they were never taught how!
This is so true, kind of makes you wonder will women ever be happy. Women want to live good but complain because they dont have anyone to hold them at night because the man is tired from being at work all night, but if the man is at home all day then he needs to get a job and stop being a deadbeat. If he works sometimes but isnt making enough money then he needs to get a second job. I suggest all men spend thier money on lottery tickets and if you get rich then you all can live happily ever after. If you lose all your money then make her get a job. Thats equality at its best.
